Episode 48: My IVF Journey & Lessons I’ve Learned Along the Way

Spotify I Apple Podcast

In this special Wellness Wednesday episode, our co-host Elise gets honest and open about her IVF journey, starting from the heartbreak of losing our first baby at 26 weeks due to a genetic kidney disease. After learning that there was a high chance of loss happening again, Elise began her journey of IVF. The process was long and filled with waiting: from consultations and insurance approvals to creating a genetic "probe" for testing.

Through this process, Elise faced failed transfers, multiple egg retrievals, and timing issues that required additional tests. She shares her insights into this process and how she managed the significant emotional challenges while running multiple businesses. She shares the importance of advocating for herself, asking questions, and preparing her body for the process. We hope you enjoy this special episode offering support and advice for anyone on a similar path.
